Easy to stick on and looks nice. I did have to cure it with the lamp and then file so it is smoother on the edges. Last for a while after hand washing dishes for a few weeks
I've tried a few different brands of gel strips now, and these are hands down my favorite for fit and ease of application. I apply, cure, trim, cure, apply a gel top coat, and cure again and get at least a week out of them. I'd likely very easily get longer but I get picky and whoop, there they went! I'm actually on a mission with my current set to try for two weeks because the short amount of time with too much filing has caused some peeling on the tips of my nails. My own fault. These do NOT come even close to the damage of regular gel manicures! Do yourself a favor: Go watch some YouTube vids on applying them before you think they suck. You cannot use these to make your nails longer. You might get away with a couple of millimeters past your natural nail, but that's about it. They're intended to cover your actual nail, not lengthen like acrylics. Something that has been helpful for me, too, is to apply more side to side than lengthwise. I match the sticker up with one side of my nail, fitting it into the "corner" by my cuticle, then stretch it over to the other side, if that makes sense. I have fairly large nail beds and these fit better than any other brand, but they still don't have enough bigger sizes. I can, however, stretch them so I can usually get two sets out of them, especially if I do a little mix and match with glitter nails from other sets. At any rate, game changer, will likely never do salon gel again. Anyone saying they don't last or that they don't look as nice as salon needs to watch some YouTube University and get some pointers because they're most likely doing something wrong.
Through trial, error & online advice, I've taught myself, to use gel polish strips. After tons of error, on my 4th set, I finally got it down. I started with a small starter kit for about $15 I picked up at Target as an impulse buy, which was good enough to let me know I enjoyed playing with it. I've since purchased a few more supplies & have experimented until I now have a quick system that works great. It's important to have super clean nails to start. Cuticle care, washing, drying followed by the alcohol cleaning pad included with the nail strips is simple. I don't file my nails yet as for me, it works best to wait until the polish is on, trimmed & cured to prevent filing dust from getting under the strips. After cleaning I put the polish strips on, making sure they do not touch cuticles, & use a chapstick tube or a securely closed nail polish bottle. The glass bottle itself is easy to hold and the brush handle becomes the roller. Press the polish down super hard, especially on the edges. This is extremely important to prevent lifting. Through trial and error. I've found that cuticle scissors work best to trim length. I then press the edges down again, especially the tips. Next, I cure, file the tips to shape, use a clear gel polish topcoat, which also helps prevent lifting, cure again and perfecto! My nails grow fast and I've had these french tip polish strips on for 4 weeks!! Holy cow! Perfecto! I hope this helps someone
At first, I didn′t know how to use this, but it′s actually so simple you won′t believe it.You just stick it onto your nail, trim the extra with scissors, and file the top so it fits your nail shape. That′s it.It looks really neat and pretty too. For me, it lasts more than a month, and no matter how much I wash my hands or bump my nails, it doesn′t get ruined it′s just my nails growing out.Overall, it′s a really great product.
I'm a total novice to semi-cured nail strips. I had previously tried a different brand and they came out TERRIBLY. They didn't lie flat and looked all wonky, but I figured that maybe they turned out so badly because it was my first attempt. So I went into trying these out thinking that there was a huge learning curve and that these may not turn out too well either. Happily, I was proven completely wrong! These nail strips applied so easily and laid flat against my nails, I didn't have to fight at all with bubbles or lifting. I followed the instructions, and they turned out fabulously (if I do say so myself)! My picture doesn't even do them justice, they're much more glossy in person. I'm absolutely thrilled to be able to do my nails for a fraction of what a professional manicure costs, and at home at my own convenience. I will buy nothing but kraveluxx nail strips from here forward!Edit - I wore the pictured strips for almost 3 weeks, and not a single one fell off! The two nails that take the most abuse did chip at the tips at just under a week. So I put a gel top coat on and cured it, and nothing budged from there forward. I only removed them because the ledge above my new growth was yanking my hair out. The nails detached like a breeze with the kraveluxx remover, with zero damage to my natural nails (if anything, the new growth looked healthy and protected). I'm on my second set now, and I applied an extra coat of gel on the two nails that had previously chipped, and nothing has chipped this time. So, obviously, still super happy with this brand :) These are super cute! Semi-transparent, which I was worried about because the tips of my nails are still showing damage from using an overly harsh gel polish remover about six months ago, but you can't really tell unless you're looking closely. I tried a different brand of semi-cured strips over the holidays because I liked the color and design and figured I really had the hang of things now. They were thick and difficult to work with, snagged my hair from the start, and began falling off within days.
